Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Applicants must be between 21 and 38 years as of 1st January 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit applies as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from an institution recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Citizenship & Residency Requirements:
- Applicants must be Indian citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution.
- Must be permanent residents of Assam and provide PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.
Additional Requirements:
- Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in an Employment Exchange in Assam.
- Small Family Norms: Applicants must submit a declaration in Form-A affirming compliance with the Small Family Norms.
