Eligibility Criteria:
For Retired Bank Employees
Retired Officers: Officers who have retired (including those who have voluntarily retired) from any PSU bank up to the rank of Chief Manager are eligible to apply. These individuals should have a minimum of three years of rural banking experience.
Retired Clerks: Retired clerks or equivalent personnel from the Bank of Baroda who have passed the JAIIB examination with a good track record are also eligible. The maximum age for continuation as a BC supervisor is 65 years.
For Young Candidates
Educational Qualifications: Young candidates should possess at least a graduate degree with proficiency in computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet, etc.). Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications such as M.Sc. (IT), BE (IT), MCA, or MBA.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21-45 years of age at the time of appointment. The maximum age for continuation as a BC supervisor is 65 years.
Geographical Location of the Candidates
Candidates will be selected from the same district where they will function. If no suitable candidates are available, adjoining districts may be considered. Proficiency in local languages and dialects is required.
Selection Procedure
- Application Submission: Applications should be submitted in hard copies through speed post, registered post, courier, or in person to the Regional Manager at the specified address.
- Shortlisting Process: Applications will be thoroughly scrutinized, and eligible candidates will be shortlisted for an interview.
- Interview Details: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email regarding the date, time, and venue of the interview.
- Final Selection: The final selection will be communicated to the candidates within 15 days from the date of the interview through email.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and control BC activities in coordination with the link branch.
- Conduct financial literacy sessions in villages.
- Identify and appoint BCs for uncovered villages.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the bank.
Salary:
A mixed structure comprising fixed and variable components:
Category A: Minimum 30 BC Agents, Rs. 15,000/- fixed, Rs. 10,000/- variable.
Category B: Minimum 20 BC Agents, Rs. 12,000/- fixed, Rs. 8,000/- variable.
