ICMR NIOH Recruitment 2024, seeking applicants via email for a position under ICMR’s time-bound research project at ICMR-National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. The role is temporary, ad-hoc, and contractual, filled via personal interview (online/offline).

Essential Qualifications:

• First-class postgraduate degree or integrated PG degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science disciplines, with three years of experience.
• Alternatively, a Ph.D. in the mentioned subjects is acceptable.
• Second-class PG degree or integrated PG degree with a Ph.D. in the above subject specialization, along with three years of experience.
• First-class engineering graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized University, with three years of experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

i. Proficiency in basic molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting, and Immunohistochemistry.
ii. Prior experience in operating various automated biochemical analysis platforms, ELISAs, etc.
iii. Preference is given to candidates with experience in mouse and rat handling.
iv. Experience in primary and secondary cell culture, isolation of various immune cell subsets, and immunological assays such as ELISA, and immunohistochemistry.
v. Candidates with National-level Qualification exams will be preferred.
vi. Prior experience in various cell culture techniques.
vii. Familiarity with handling sophisticated molecular biology instruments such as flow cytometry, ELISPOT readers, etc.
