Eligibility Criteria:
1. Professor in Information Technology
If you’re into tech and academia, this is a huge one. They are looking for a Professor in Information Technology, and here’s what they want:
Qualifications You Need:
- Ph.D. in IT or a related field: You’ll need to have a Ph.D., and if you’ve got a solid list of research publications (at least 10 in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals), you’re on the right track!
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in teaching or research is essential. Whether you’ve been an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, your experience should reflect a solid academic background, with bonus points if you’ve guided Ph.D. students.
OR, if you’ve worked in the industry or another academic field and have a Ph.D., your exceptional contributions might just make you stand out, as long as you have 10 years of relevant experience.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in distance education would be a major plus.
Knowing your way around computers and being fluent in both Assamese and English is highly desirable.
2. Associate Professor in Philosophy
If you’re more into Philosophy, KKHSOU is also hiring an Associate Professor in Philosophy. Here’s what you need to know:
Qualifications You Need:
- Ph.D. in Philosophy: A solid academic background with a Ph.D. in Philosophy is a must.
- Master’s Degree: You should have at least 55% in your Master’s (or equivalent grade).
- Experience: They’re asking for 8 years of teaching/research experience. You also need to have at least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a research score of 75.
Bonus Points:
- As with the IT position, if you’ve worked in distance education or have a diploma in it, you’re already ahead.
- Being good with computers and speaking both Assamese and English fluently will also be super helpful.
