3. Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. Proof of residency must be uploaded during the application process.
Educational Qualifications:
Diploma: The candidate must have a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution (AICTE-approved).
The diploma must be regular; distance learning programs are not accepted.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (for general category)
- Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: Relaxed by 5 years (up to 45 years)
- OBC/MOBC: Relaxed by 3 years (up to 43 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxed up to 42 years (further relaxable based on category)
