High Court Patna Foreman Recruitment Eligibility:

Nationality:

• Indian citizens.
• Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1972.
• Persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries, provided they have a certificate of eligibility from the State Government.

Character:

• Must be of good character and suitable for appointment.
• Candidates terminated or dismissed by the government or convicted of serious offenses are ineligible.

Marital Status:

• Males with more than one wife alive or females married to a person already having a wife alive are ineligible.

Physical Fitness:

• Candidates must be in good mental and physical health. A medical fitness certificate is required.
• Note: There is no provision for Scribe or extra time in any part/stage of the examination for Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) candidates.

Age Limit:

• Minimum age: 18 years as of 01.01.2024.
• Maximum age varies by category:
• Unreserved (Male): 37 years
• Unreserved (Female), EBC (Male & Female): 40 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for employees under the Central Government or Government of Bihar.

Minimum Qualification:

• Intermediate (12th Passed) from a recognized Board/University.
• Certificate in Mechanic (Motor Vehicles) trade from an Industrial Training Institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
• Two years of experience in the relevant field.

Preferential Qualification:

• Service in the Territorial Army for at least two years.
• ‘B’ certificate from the National Cadet Corps.
