SSC JE Recruitment 2024 will hold an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) for Organizations/ Offices of the Government of India. The posts are of Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), NonMinisterial in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of the pay matrix of the 7^th Central Pay Commission.

Border Roads Organization JE(C) JE(E&M) Age Limit:30 Years	Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or(a) Three-Year Diploma in Civil Engineering.(b) Two years of working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. How to Apply for SSC JE Recruitment 2024?

All the candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice and have not generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website will be required to do so as the earlier OTR generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional for the new website. After OTR, the candidates can proceed to fill out the application for the examination. Once an OTR has been generated on the new website, it will continue to remain valid for all the examinations to be applied for on the new website.

SSC JE Recruitment Application Fee:

For the SSC JE 2024 Exam, each candidate is required to remit Rs. 100/- as the Online Application Fee. Notably, candidates falling under the SC/ST/PWD category are relieved from any such application charges. Moreover, female candidates and former employees are also exempted from paying the SSC JE Application Fees.

SSC JE Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern for Paper 1

SSC JE Paper 1 is an objective-type examination.
It consists of three sections: General Knowledge, General Awareness, and General Engineering covering civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
The duration of SSC JE Paper 1 is 2 hours.
Candidates who qualify for SSC JE Paper 1 will proceed to the next stage, which is SSC JE Paper 2.
There is a negative marking scheme wherein a 1/3rd mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

A negative mark of 1/3rd mark is applicable for each incorrect answer.
