Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences (Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology)
• OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses (B.V.Sc.&A.H./M.V.Sc.).

National Eligibility Tests (NET):

• Candidates must have qualified NET such as CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE, or equivalent national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.).

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in Molecular Biology, Virological Techniques, and Animal Cell Culture.

Age Limit:

• 35 years for men
• 40 years for women
• Age relaxation as per Government rules.
